The Tri-Cities Cancer Center Brings Advanced Cancer Treatment Option to Area Patients
The Tri-Cities Cancer Center (TCCC) has purchased and installed a new Trilogy TM linear accelerator as a replacement for one of their current linear accelerators. This new radiotherapy system will allow them to treat patients with more complex cancers at their Kennewick facility. The new accelerator delivers radiation faster, more precisely, and with fewer side effects compared to conventional linear accelerators. The Center will now be able to offer treatment to cancer patients who would have previously been referred to facilities in Spokane or Seattle for care.
